After several years "of thinking about it" we finally made the decision to move forward with our pool project. Based on some bad experiences that friends had had with a few of the big name pool contractors in town, we were only aware of the people we did not want to do business with. Fortunately, our realtor recently had a pool constructed at her home and let us know she vetted at least a half-dozen pool contractors before deciding to hire Brian Conover and his new company, Desert Storm Custom Pools. She gave Brian a glowing recommendation for the superior quality of his work and completing their project ahead of schedule. We first met Brian at our home with a drawing of what we thought we wanted to do, and within a few hours we were at his office viewing a 3-dimensional schematic of our future pool and patio improvements. Brian was great in helping us design our custom pool, patio and fire pit area as well as choosing the best colors/products for our tile, ledger stone and travertine (and our mosaic turtles!). Brian started construction on March 26th and was finished exactly 59 days later. After dealing with many different contractors and subcontractors over the years, we've got to say that Desert Storm Pools was one of the best experiences we have ever had with a contractor. Not only did they provide us with a beautiful finished product, but the overall process went incredibly smooth. Most importantly, Brian really cares about the quality of his work and that of his contractors, and his company treats you like he would want to be treated. They don’t cut corners and they don’t BS. There is no reason to look anywhere else if you want professional, beautiful work completed on time and at a great price point....Not to mention they are really nice people to do business with!!"

We waited years to put in a pool because the pool companies around us all had a bad reputation and took forever to finish their projects. I just decided if someone was going to take forever to complete a project it might as well be me. Then thumbing through a local flyer I came upon Desert Storm Custom Pools they were new and didn’t have any reviews but I decided to call and see what they had to offer. Brian was professional from the get go I called he came out took measurements and asked us to meet him in 2 hrs at his office which we did. He had prepared full plans of the pool I envisioned and we even changed a few things right there. His price was fair so I was skeptical when we picked out finishes that day everything would be an up charge...nope! He said he would start in on Oct 23(guess what he did) and the pool build would take 7 weeks (it took 5.5 with a 1 week rain delay!) I now have my dream backyard. Thanks Desert Storm!

Without a doubt, this major residential pool building experience was the least pain staking of all the big projects I've been involved in, whether my own property, or others I've built. As a retired California building contractor, and retired Law enforcement official, I must say, Brian Conover and his subs were fantastic to work with from start to finish. Great design, great price. Even with my design changes, modifications and add ons, all aspects of my pool build was still completed 2 weeks earlier than specified in my contract. Two other pool contractors that I consulted with told me it would take about 11 to 12 weeks for completion. Brian Conover, and Desert Storm custom pools did it in 7 weeks. It would have been done a few days sooner, but, I delayed it due to a personal issue I had in another state. I just needed to be present for all of the building aspects. If you're considering a pool built by Brian Conover, and Desert Storm custom pools, I'm certain you'll be as pleased as I and my family are. Especially my grand children. I welcome you to see my pool in person. If I'm not here we'll arrange for Brian to give you the guided tour.

We had Desert Storm Custom Pools design and build our new swimming pool in Lake Havasu City. The Owner, Brian, was great to work with from his first visit before design to completion. Being a Contractor gives me an experienced view of the quality of both construction and the finished product. Both were well above expectations and working with Brian was a very good experience as well. Even with several days of bad weather Brian met the deadline and had the pool completed as promised.
