History of Desert Storm Custom Pools
Our beginings starts with the Founder, Brian Conover, who has worked on 1000 plus builds. Since 1996 in California, Brian has worked in the pool business, initially responsible for plumbing and other site construction, including hillside retention work. By 1998, he had mastered excavation, electrical, rebar work and shotcrete. In 2012 the family moved to beautiful Lake Havasu and Brian joined the largest pool contractor in town. His vision, 3D design skills and work ethic exponentially multiplied the growth of that company.
Fast forward seven years and Desert Storm Custom Pools was born, enabling Brian and the Desert Storm team to bring the design execution, quality workmanship and service every homeowner deserves.
The experienced team includes Steve Clark, formerly owner of Malibu Pools, Hemet, CA who brings 25+ years in the business. Brian and Steve have assembled a top-notch crew to bring life to our customers’ vision whether it is a basic lap pool or an extravagant outdoor living oasis complete with waterfalls and custom lighting and sound. Brian Conover of Desert Storm Custom Pools
Brian Conover has been in the workforce since he was 15 years old. His career in the swimming pool industry began in 1995 when he took an entry level laborer job for a friend’s dad. Over the next eight years he learned everything there was to know about building swimming pools and performed those services himself. He moved on from laborer to supervisor, scheduling and running crews as large as 20+ men. After he designed and sold his first pool he realized design was his passion.
Taking a homeowner’s idea and making their backyard dream a reality is what drives him. His in depth knowledge of the pool building process has contributed to his success as a designer and seller.
In 2012 Brian moved his family to Lake Havasu City Arizona and continued in the industry he loves; designing, selling and supervising the building of swimming pools. Brian’s knowledge and experience in the industry allows him to recommend the best materials, equipment and processes. He has spent two decades contributing to the success of other’s companies; during his latest employment he more than doubled their business. He has decided its time for him to build his own reputable pool building company and make dreams come true for his homeowners. His motto is quality over quantity. His desire is to build the best quality pools in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, making this city that he loves more beautiful one backyard at a time.
